In "Birdsong," you will find a lovely assortment of hand-drawn portraits showcasing a Robin, House Sparrow, Blue Tit, Coal Tit, and Great Tit. Lately, I've developed a fascination for the birds that visit my garden, watching their graceful movements as they flit from tree to tree.

Often, I find myself outdoors during the early hours, holding a hot cup of coffee, wrapped in a blanket, with my journal in hand, enjoying the melodies of the singing birds. It seems as though the birds serve as a signal to the world that it's time to rise and shine. Their enchanting tunes breaking the morning silence is such a beautiful sound.

William Shakespeare once wrote, "The earth has music for those who listen." Well, I couldn't agree more.
Only recently did I begin to question why the sound of birds singing brought me such a sense of calm and peace. I later discovered that birdsong promotes relaxation, signalling to our subconscious that we are in a secure environment when birds are chirping.
When we hear nature thriving, it signifies a place where humans could thrive too. Isn't that magical?
